Product description About our Organic Hulled Millet: Anthony's Organic Hulled Millet is an ancient, drought-tolerant, seeded grass widely grown around the world. With its mild, sweet flavor and warm yellow hue, Millet cooks quickly and is a great replacement for rice and quinoa. Popular in Indian and African dishes, Millet is often used in bread and snacks. Create a hot bowl of breakfast cereal with coconut milk and berries or use it as a substitute for grits! It is also great in salads, veggie burgers, and granola. Anthony’s Hulled Millet is Organic, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Vegan Friendly, and of the Proso Variety. Directions: No need for soaking, but you may rinse Millet under cold running water to remove any bitterness. Use 1 part millet to 2 parts water. Bring the water to a boil, add the millet, simmer for 15-20 minutes, then let it sit, covered and removed from heat, for an additional 10 minutes for perfectly cooked millet.
