Product description EXPERIENCE A STATE OF THE ART SHOWER PROOF TRANSPARENT ADHESIVE FILM DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT: High quality medical grade adhesive (glue) Skin-facing surface is entirely adhesive Polyurethane backing functions as a barrier to liquid, dust and bacterial contamination. The film layer is breathable and water proof Does not absorb exudate. This film/dressing is not absorptive. Latex is not used in production of this dressing May be used to secure other dressings, venous or arterial catheters in place. IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS: To reduce the risk of skin damage on fragile skin, apply skin protectant (in spray or pad form) before application. To reduce the risk of skin damage during removal of the film, use of medical adhesive removers are highly recommended. Skin under dressing, specially 0.5 inches (1.3 cm) from edge, must be completely clean and dry, not moist or oily. Do not apply directly on infected wounds. To decrease maceration, limit shower time to less than 15 minutes and change dressing after a shower. Remove if any signs of maceration. Remove if any itching or other sings of allergy noticed. EASY TO USE: The intact skin under the dressing, specially close to the edges, must be completely clean and dry, not moist or oily. May use alcohol pad for cleaning, allow it to dry 30-60 seconds. Take the sterile transparent adhesive film out of the pouch and peel away the white release paper. Apply the adhesive side of transparent film (with the attached window backing paper) over desired skin area. Gently press down on the dressing, paying particular attention to the edges to assure dressing is properly adhered to the skin. Avoid creases or trapped air bubbles. Peel away the window shaped backing papers starting from the pre-cut area.
