CompriFoam Bandage 7529500 by BSN Medical is an open cell foam bandage to offer breathability and padding underneath a compression bandage or plaster cast application. It's wrapped around the limb to reduce swelling for individuals with lymphedema, venous insufficiency and edema. The foam bandage adds comfort and evenly distributes pressure on the limb to prevent constriction. The foam measures 4.7 inches (12 cm) in width and 2.73 yards (2.5 m) when needing increased width. The polyurethane foam construction is latex-free naturally creates a non-slip texture as it anatomically conforms around the limb. The open cell construction is important to keep skin cool and dry. It's breathable and air and moisture permeable as well to make compression treatment comfortable. CompriFoam can be reused for ongoing therapy and if sterilization is required, the foam can be steamed.
