From the brand Cafe Quindio The Coffee from the Heart of Colombia! Cafe Quindío is a family owned and women-owned business from Armenia, the capital city of the Quindio state. Back in the early 1990´s, our founder, Nubia Motta Camargo, found an opportunity in roasting at origin premium beans. Back then, these premium beans were not sold locally and were reserved for the international market. It was a risky move that paid off! 100% Colombian Coffee Quindío State, from where our name comes from, is located in the center of Colombia and it is where our coffee beans are harvested! What makes our products unique? Our coffee beans are harvested in the mountains of the Quindio region, at an ideal altitude between 1,250 and 2,100 m.a.s.l. (4101-6889 f.a.s.l.), with rich volcanic soil and favorable climate. These unique conditions contribute to the exceptional quality of our coffee, giving it a distinctive flavor profile. What makes Cafe Quindo’s roasting process unique? Our roasting process is an art created by our in-house artists (expert roasters). We use German roasters and specific dehydration and time-by-density techniques to maximize the potential of each bean.
