From the brand When Katerina Mountanos founded Kosterina in 2016 her goal was simple: to share authentic Greek olive oil beyond the Mediterranean region. She teamed up with farmers in the Peloponnese region of Greece to begin the meticulous process of producing early-harvest, cold-pressed EVOO. EVOO is a timeless super ingredient that Kosterina has perfected by combining traditional and modern Mediterranean flavors with superior health benefits. How did we get our start? In 2016, Katerina Mountanos started Kosterina after years of enjoying EVOO pressed from our families' olive trees in Southern Greece. We could never find a proper substitute here in the States for the fresh, delicious Greek EVOO we knew and loved, so we partnered with farmers in the region to develop a premium, delicious Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
