The Cable Monitor is a continuity tester, which is easily connected to the heating system, and immediately sounds an alarm and shows a red light if the cable is damaged in any way during the installation of the radiant heating system or of the floor. ★ HOW DOES IT WORK? The Cable Monitor constantly measures the continuity of the floor heating cable. If there is a break in continuity, the Cable Monitor immediately alerts you with a loud alarm and a red warning light. ★ HOW IS IT CONNECTED? Each lead wire from the floor heating cable is connected into the connection points on the Cable Monitor. Tighten the screws to hold the wires in place. Set the switch to the "on" position. The green light will light up if it is connected correctly. The red light and alarm will alert you if the connection is loose or if the heating system has been damaged. ★ CAN I RE-USE THE CABLE MONITOR? Yes, it can be re-used over and over again.
