Product Description Widex Nanocare wax guards are protective filters designed to keep earwax, moisture, and debris from entering and damaging your Widex hearing aids. These wax guards are essential for maintaining the functionality and longevity of your Widex hearing aids by preventing blockages that can affect sound quality. Regular replacement of the wax guards is essential for optimal hearing aid performance. Compatibility: The Widex Nanocare wax guards are designed for use with most 3.0 receiver models from Widex, Phonk, Unitron and Resound hearing aids, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance. How to Use: Each Nanocare wax guard stick comes with 2 ends, one for insertion, one for removal. The empty tip is used to remove your used wax guard from your receiver. The white end is the new wax guard. *Step1: Press onto your used wax guard with the empty end firmly to pick up. When safely removed, the used wax guard should then be disposed of. *Step 2: Once the used wax guard is removed, insert the new guard by inserting the white end into the receiver firmly. When you remove the stick the wax guard should stay firmly in place. When to Replace: *Replace your Nanocare filters if you notice a change in sound quality. *Replace your Nanocare filters if there is a decrease in your hearing. *It is recommended to replace your Nanocare filters every two weeks ideally. Tips for Optimal Performance: *Replace the wax guards regularly, ideally every two weeks, to prevent wax buildup and maintain peak performance. *If you notice a change in sound quality or a decrease in your hearing, then it’s time to remove and replace the wax guard with a new one. *If you have oily ear canals, consider replacing the wax guards more frequently to keep your hearing aids clean. *Store your Nanocare wax guards in a cool, dry place to prolong their effectiveness.
