Our buckwheat mix is a blend of premium light buckwheat flour, corn flour, and unbleached wheat flour, making the taste and color lighter than some other Buckwheat products. The real sweet cream Buttermilk is already in the mix, so you can choose to just add water. Made from first grade unbleached, unenriched flour. This product does not use any synthetic colors or flavors. New Hope Mills Old Fashion Buckewheat Mix can be used to make pancakes and/or waffles: Pancake Recipe: 2 Cups Pancake Mix + 1 ¾ Cups Cold Water (Optional: 1 Egg, and/or 2 Tbsp oil or melted butter). Waffle Recipe: 2 Cups Pancake Mix + 1 ¾ Cups Cold Water + 2 Tbsp oil or melted butter + 2 Eggs. Be creative! Use this delicious mix to make a pancake jelly roll and serve for dessert!
