Simplistic and elegant restroom sign with all hardware needed. Stainless steel black standoff spacers. Printed on frosted 1/8 inch thick acrylic with a white ACM background. Style Options: 7" x 7" man/woman symbol only (no words, no braille, not ADA compliant) 7" x 7" man/woman with word "RESTROOM", NO braille 7" x 7" man/woman with word "RESTROOM" WITH braille 5" x 8" "MEN" with braille only 5" x 8" "MEN" with handicap (wheelchair accessible) and braille 5" x 8" "WOMEN" with braille only 5" x 8" "WOMEN" with handicap (wheelchair accessible) and braille 8" x 8" "RESTROOM" with handicap (wheelchair accessible) and braille (ADA) ADA requirements specify a contrasting background for clear front only, so a backplate is not necessary if it's mounted on a light wall. Do not use a dark background, use a back plate. To install: - Mark the center holes in the wall - Use a 3/16" drill to drill drywall (if you hit wood, stop and use the screws without anchors) - Press the anchors in the wall - Using a #2 Philips screwdriver, install the standoff with a 1.25" long #6 screw. If you're using a backplate, be sure to put it flat up against the wall first, then put the spacer on top. - Put the sign in position with the printed side facing the wall - Assemble the standoff by screwing the cap in. Be sure to sandwich the acrylic with the 2 clear washers
