There we let the spring, the summer sun, and winds heat and slowly dry it out. As summer draws to an end, saltwater is transferred to pans where it’s allowed to fully dry until September, when the salt is getting harvested. It is washed with brine to remove unwanted solids but without losing trace elements and minerals! The result is pure salt, which will be stored in large 10 to 15m mountains. In 2008, we started packaging and marketing this amazing salt in its pure natural raw form.
