This Seachoice 8-Plait Anchor Rode delivers outstanding performance and operates smoothly in any windlass. This durable and pliable ½-In.-diameter nylon rope is 200 feet long. It is hand-spliced in the USA to a ¼-In. x 10-foot-long G4 high-test galvanized chain that includes a 5/16-In. shackle. The 8-plait rope offers strength similar to that of traditional 3-strand rope, but its multi-strand, woven lay lets the rope lay more compactly in the anchor locker. Plus, the 8-plait rope absorbs higher shock loads better than traditional 3-strand rope. A bucket is also included.
