Uses premium tea leaves picked at the beginning of summer after absorbing a good amount of sunlight during the spring months. Both delicious and refreshing, cold-brew sencha is a perfect drink to cool down from the heat. 煎茶の淹れ方 How to Brew Sencha Step 1 Pour boiling water into a cup or yuzamashi (water cooler) to adjust the water temperature. Recommended water temperature for Sencha is 176°F (80°C). Tip: Pouring hot water into a separate cup will reduce the temperature by 10°C (20°F) Step 2 Add one teaspoon of Sencha into your teapot to brew 8oz (1 cup) of tea. Add more for a bolder cup. Step 3 Pour the water into the teapot and steep for 1-1.5 mins. Resteep 2-3 times and experiment with temperature + time to find your preference. Enjoy!
