As you use your brush, debris get's stuck into it. Hairs, dandruff and other debris. It's normal, in fact a good brush isn't just about straightening your hair but also massaging and exfoliating your skin and scalp. So it is not just inevitable, it's a good thing that things. But cleaning out the debris by trying to plow one's fingers in the boar bristles is not fun, there's a reason boar bristles are used and that's because they're extremely stiff. Besides trying to plow in there with fingers is also not good for the brush. A steel rake brush cleaner is designed to get to the bottom of the brush and remove the debris, without breaking the bristles. Some brush cleaners are so dense that they snap off the boar bristles - they're not designed for boar hair brushes. This is done with care to ensure the wood doesn't break but strong enough to hold. Brush cleaner handles before buffing The sanded rosewood handles with the steel bristles are ready for buffing. Each one is buffed individually to get the perfect shine. After which the steel wires are separated to make a fan shape. Completed and packaged The completed brush cleaners are packed in their protective packaging using only paper and cardboard packaging, limiting the amount of plastic waste as much as possible.
