Instead of hot water, add filtered water at room temperature and stir. Place the lid on the carafe and let brew for 12 –24 hours at room temperature or in your refrigerator. Press and enjoy! Two Lids Included! The Bean comes with two lids: one for the fridge overnight, and one with a plunger to press down the coffee grounds in the morning. How to prepare a delicious Bodum Cold Brew! Cold Brew - Step 1: Add fresh ground coffee. We recommend 4 Bodum scoops (included) or 4 rounded teaspoons per 8 Oz. of Coffee. Cold Brew - Step 2: Pour fresh cold water. Brewing with cold water will give a 70% less bitter taste. Cold Brew - Step 3: Place in Fridge. Secure the flat lid on top of the press and place in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. Cold Brew - Step 4: Press and Enjoy. Remove the press from the fridge and replace the flat lid with the press lid. Slowly press down, pour and enjoy!
