The dressing has a gentle border design with advanced quintuple construction which combines an absorbent pad sandwiched between a perforated silicone gel adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof outer film. It can extremely absorb the wound secretions while providing the optimal moist environment for faster wounds healing and minimizing the pain & trauma to patients during dressing changes. Intended Use Kastormed Silicone foam dressing is suitable for various kinds of moderately to heavily exudating wounds care,such as pressure ulcers, foot diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st & 2nd-degree burns, traumatic wounds (scape and laceration), etc. How to Use Step 1 Clean the wound in accordance to clinical practice. Step 2 Remove the first release film Step 3 Apply the adhesive side to the wound and remove the remaining release liner Step 4 Smooth down the border on the skin. DO not stretch Tips & Advise The dressing is a disposable product and can not be reused. Please make sure the central foam pad (2.5"x 2.5") is larger than the wound size. Before moving, please gently hold the dressing by hand for 25 seconds to activate the adhesive for optimal service. Please prevent the external equipment or hard stuff from rubbing the ends of the silicone foam dressing for a longer service time. The dressing is waterproof but NOT showering-proof, which means the liquid will not flow from one side of the dressing to the other side, but the liquid will leak in from the edge under the adhesive layer to weaken the adhesion.
