Product description OUR STORY Our founder, Caron, started Simply Gum in her kitchen after she discovered that regular chewing gum contains synthetic plastic and other artificial ingredients. Though weβve outgrown her kitchen, our commitment to natural ingredients, delicious flavors, and beautiful packaging remain. NO SYNTHETIC PLASTIC Most gum out there is made of a synthetic plastic base. Yes, you heard us right! The FDA allows companies to hide synthetic substances under the term "gum base" on the label. This includes polyvinyl acetate, or synthetic plastic. We use a tree sap, called chicle, instead. OUR PROMISE Our gum is crafted at our Brooklyn factory by our team of gum chefs. Our gum is certified Kosher, non-GMO, and vegan. Plus it's dairy-free, soy-free, and gluten-free (except our Maple variety).
