From the Publisher Cornelia "Corrie" ten Boom (1892-1983) was a Dutch Christian who, along with her father and other family members, helped many Jews escape the Holocaust during World War II. Her life story, The Hiding Place, was originally released in 1971 and has since been a longtime bestselling memoir, inspiring readers around the world.
