Product description What is White Tea? The Republic of Tea introduced the rare 100% White Tea to the West in 2002. This exceptional tea is made from young leaves and buds of the Camellia sinensis plant, picked while still wrapped in soft white hairs. Minimally processed and carefully dried, white tea is a low-caffeine tea with mellow, sweet notes – delicious served hot or over ice. Sourced exclusively from China’s Fujian Province, our 100% White Tea is the purest product on the market and is a crown jewel of high-end tea connoisseurs. Asian Jasmine Fragrant floral flavors marry with 100% White Tea for a heavenly aroma and an exalting cup. Cucumber Mint This 100% White Tea blend of cooling spearmint and natural flavors is sure to refresh and rejuvenate. Emperor’s White This 100% White Tea is revered for its unmatched subtlety, complexity and mellow, sweet notes. Ginger Peach This tea offers the lush natural flavors of a fancy peach seasoned with the tingle of spicy ginger in a base of 100% White Tea. Honey Mango The rich, sweet flavor and aroma of mango are captured in this delicate 100% White Tea blend. Pineapple Guava Delightful tropical sweet natural flavors evoke images of exotic fruits and a blissful sip of paradise. Orange Blossom This delicate 100% White Tea has an invigorating aroma and citrus notes for a refreshing and uplifting cup. Silver Rain Full-Leaf Loose This delicate full-leaf tea steeps a crisp and refreshing cup with hints of honey and toasty sweetness. What are the origins of white tea? White tea originated in China and has been sipped for thousands of years. It is traditionally grown in the Fujian province of China. While some other tea growing regions have begun producing white tea, we are proud to offer 100% White Tea that is still grown in the beautiful Fujian province. Does white tea have caffeine? White tea is low in caffeine. It is the least processed of all tea varietals and retains more of its antioxidants, known as polyphenols. Discover tea in its most natural state and raise a cup to good health. How to steep white tea? Heat water to 180*F. Use one tea bag or one teaspoon of loose tea per 6 oz of water. Steep for 30 to 60 seconds if using a tea bag, or 2 to 3 minutes for loose leaves. For iced tea, double the amount of tea, let it cool and pour over ice.
